The purpose of this half-day session is to ensure that everyone is aware of the latest AI advances and shares a common vocabulary for discussing AI as we move forward.

A hands-on, one-day introduction to Microsoft Copilot for everyday work.

By the end of the day, students will be writing effective prompts, recognising when Copilot's answers can't be trusted, and applying Copilot to real tasks from their own role — safely, sceptically, and with confidence.

This course covers Copilot Chat (the browser-based chatbot tier with commercial data protection). It does not cover Microsoft 365 Copilot integration inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook — those are different products with different licensing.

By the end of the day, students will be working with Copilot embedded in each of the five core Microsoft 365 applications — using it to triage email, summarise meetings, draft and review documents, analyse data, and build presentations from existing content.

This course is for organisations that have licensed the Microsoft 365 Copilot add-on. Unlike Copilot Chat (covered in Introduction to Microsoft Copilot), M365 Copilot is grounded in the organisation's own data — emails, files, chats, calendar, and SharePoint — under each user's existing M365 permissions. That change in capability brings new opportunities and new governance considerations, both of which the course addresses directly.

By the end of the day, students will have used several pre-built agents on tasks from their own role and built two custom agents of their own — one knowledge agent and one more capable agent that combines knowledge with actions. They will also leave with a working understanding of when an agent is the right tool, what guardrails to design in, and who to involve before sharing an agent with colleagues.

This course is the practical follow-on to Introduction to Microsoft Copilot, picking up where that course's brief introduction to agents left off. The workshops lean on Microsoft 365 Copilot features — grounding agents in tenant data, adding actions, and deploying agents inside Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook — so every delegate needs an M365 Copilot licence.

A hands-on, one-day capstone course on AI ethics and regulation — taught primarily by building, refining, and stress-testing an AI Governance Agent that students can take back to their organisation.

By the end of the day, students will understand the UK and EU regulatory landscape for AI at work, and will have collaboratively built a Governance Agent that evaluates prompts and outputs against a defined ruleset. They will have stress-tested that agent against realistic scenarios from their own roles, and discussed where the agent helps, where it falls short, and where human judgement is still essential.

The course is structured to maximise discussion: the agent's responses to tricky prompts become the prompts for conversation. As students push the agent to harder edge cases, they reveal their own assumptions about what is acceptable, what is risky, and what is genuinely off-limits.

This course is the capstone of the five-part AI training series. It assumes students have completed Building and Using Agents with Copilot (Course 04) and are comfortable with the agent builder. The agent built in class is intended to be a useful artefact — not a throwaway exercise — and several of the techniques are designed to help organisations standardise on a shared AI governance posture.

A half-day session giving business leaders a structured update on what has genuinely changed in AI over the past six months — and what they should pay attention to in the next six.

The course is designed to run every six months with the same cohort of leaders, typically following an initial AI for Leadership session. Because leaders see the same structure each time, they build a mental model of the AI landscape over multiple sessions and can track their own thinking as it evolves.

The content refresh each iteration includes: notable model and product developments, adoption patterns and case studies, regulatory movement, security and reputational incidents, and a realistic forward look. Hype is explicitly separated from signal.

This course provides a hands-on introduction to Generative AI (Gen-AI).

Students will learn about the opportunities and risks that Generative AI presents, and how best to apply this new technology in the workplace.

This course will teach you how to build your own GPT in ChatGPT.

You can think of a GPT as being a chatbot expert on a topic of your choice.

No programming is required.

In this course you’ll learn how to set up your own computer to run a range of Open-Source Large Language Models (LLMs).

This course provides an introduction to the fields of Data Analysis and Data Science. The aim is to introduce key concepts and ideas, foster an interest in the subject, and give attendees an appetite to learn more. Along the way, students will learn how to find and present interesting stories from a dataset.

You may have the skills to analyse data, but can you convey your insight to others?

This course teaches the three key skills that you'll need to turn data analysis into convincing actionable insight: data visualisation, storytelling and presenting.

Time will be split between learning the theory and putting it into practice, with numerous real-world datasets to analyse, visualise and stories to present.

This course covers the key tenants of the GDPR and the EU AI Act. Students will consider how both pieces of legislation might affect their organisation, their organisation’s customers, and how they themselves might be impacted as employees. A number of interesting Case Studies will guide the conversation.
